Today Show Features “5-Ingredient, 500-Calorie Dinners”

Figuring out “what’s for dinner” can often be a challenge, especially when you have a busy schedule that doesn’t leave a lot of time for food prep.  This week on the today show, there was a clip featuring two five-ingredient meals that are under 500 calories and very well balanced.  Since it’s always great to find healthy recipes that are simple to make and require only a few ingredients, I thought I’d share it with you.  You can click on the following link to watch the video:

Robin Miller is one of my personal favorites on the food network because she creates very healthy meals and offers practical time saving tips.  Many of her recipes will show you how to use leftovers to create an entirely different meal which adds variety while saving time.  She also talks about how to freeze meals, use slow-cookers and cut down on preparation time.  I think she has some great recipes for busy people.  I did add some of her more popular cookbooks to my Health Shop, so you can get more information about her books there.
